my brain has gone out with the tide
it was always used at my side
before it always worked so well
a tale on which i shall not dwell
i had a cat her name was fluff
she never knew when she had enough
i had a turkey his name was tom
he took my girl to the senior prom
i had a monkey his name was mac
he went away and never came back
i had a friend his name was fred
when the rent was due he hid under the bed
i had a dog his name was buzz
he was the best who ever was
they all had stories i couldn’t explain
and that is what happened to my brain
