an apple fell from a tree

after committing a terrible crime

and gave a spider a terrible shock
a gargoyle smiled politely
he did not take his role lightly
a hyena laughed
because its team was behind at the half
an innocent man was condemned
as he came around the bend

and asked for mercy on all our souls
a king scowled menacingly
because all he wanted was to be free
a lady waited in the rain
she had a lot to explain
we all have our parts to play

if you forget your lines, it is no big deal
you can always find better ones to steal
